Hailey was born at 10:47am on Monday, May 11, 2009, weighing 1,338 grams (2 lbs, 15.2 oz.) and 35 cm (13.75") long. After a courageous 10-1/2 month fight, we said good-bye to Hailey. She passed away peacefully in our arms and surrounded by our love on March 23, 2010.
Obviously these pages are dedicated to Hailey and to our love, admiration and memory of her life and her spirit… but, these pages are also dedicated to the nurses, doctors and staff of the NICU in Children's Hospital for their love and unwavering care, not only for Hailey but for us too… and lastly, to our family, friends and colleagues for all of their love, support and encouragement, not only during the time that we had with Hailey, but over the weeks and months that followed.
